Online car finance specialist Car Loan 4U has announced the appointment of David Kelly as Chairman.
Following the announcement in February 2014 of an £8m investment by tech investor Scottish Equity Partners, the decision has been described by Car Loan 4U as "another pivotal development".

James Wilkinson, chief executive officer at Car Loans 4U, said: "To appoint someone with the vast digital expertise of David as our Chairman speaks volumes for the ambition of the business.
"David has an impressive background having worked for the likes of Amazon and eBay and it is his leadership experience that will play a key role in supporting our strategy.
Drawing on a background formed through executive leadership roles at brands including Amazong, eBay and lastiminute.com, according to the company, Kelly’s role will be focused on driving its technology and marketing strategy.
Kelly said: "I am lucky to have been associated with some great brands over the years that have truly disrupted major market sectors and raised the bar in delivering exceptional and innovative customer experiences.
