DCML has relaunched is vehicle management tool, DCM connected, in order to make it more user-friendly on mobile and tablet devices.

The update will allow users to remotely book appointments directly through mobile and tablet devices rather than via the main PC-based system, improving and streamlining key processes for managing fleets of loan cars, demonstrator or any other fleet vehicles.

DCM Connected features integrated telematics allowing fleet managers to track vehicles or reconstruct the moments before an accident – reducing the possibility of fraudulent claims or claims disputes.

Vince Powell, managing director at DCML, said: “Fleets of loan and demonstrator cars can be time-consuming to manage correctly in the busy environment of a dealership or repair centre, so ease-of-use and efficiency are paramount. The combination of telematics and more traditional fleet management software has proved to be a winning combination for our customers; which include businesses from many sectors.”

“By introducing greater mobile and tablet support, fleet operators anywhere can be even more efficient with their time, continuing to use the same leading features that DCM Connected provides – on the go.”
