Manheim’s car dealer services branch, Manheim Retail Service, has announced the introduction of a Google-powered service allowing dealers’ to include a panoramic virtual tour of their showroom.

The service makes Manheim the first automotive sector agency to deliver Business View tours to customers.

Paul Schofield, product manager at Manheim, said: "The vast majority of consumers will now do a considerable amount of their pre-purchase research online.

"Google Business View from Manheim allows dealers to take full advantage of this trend to view vehicles before leaving the house."

Adding to Manheim’s existing photographic services, the Business View tour will be published to business’s Google+ page, allowing web agencies to embed the tour onto the dealer or group website.

Le Etta Pearce, sales and operations director at Manheim Retail Services, said: "Manheim research suggests that dealers with professional photography have a 7% reduction of vehicle days in stock, while upgrading from six to nine images of a vehicle can see a 20% reduction of vehicle days in stock. Our imagery has been proven to help dealers achieve significant brand awareness and increased revenue growth."
