LOMBARD VEHICLE MANAGEMENT
Stuart Moore has joined Lombard Vehicle Management
as a senior relationship manager. Formerly he was with GE TIP and
Hill Hire.

Elizabeth MacDonald has joined as a relationship
manager Scotland. Previously she was a business development manager
with Fleet Alliance.

LEX
Lex has announced a range of new
senior operational appointments as integration between Lex and Bank
of Scotland Vehicle Finance fleets gathers apace.

Ian Thomson will continue as director, Driver
Services with four new associate directors that will manage all
elements of the customer service delivery. These are:
Andrea Pendlebury, Customer Operations;
Paul Gibbons, Fleet Admin; Dave
Tanner,
Maintenance and Paul Kerrigan,
Operational Delivery. Andy Hartley is to remain as
director Pricing, Procurement and Vehicle Re-marketing and has
three new associate directors: Steve Jones,
Pricing; Brian Farrell, Pricing Risk and
Mark Connor, Procurement.

Richard Harper continues as director, Claims
Solutions with Colin Thomson joining the team as
associate director, Claims Solutions.

LLOYDS TSB AUTOLEASE
IT specialist John Clarke has moved to the role of
head of change management at Lloyds TSB autolease, with the aim of
developing innovative fleet management services for customers.
Clarke joins from Lloyds TSB’s Asset Finance Division, where he was
a senior programme manager in change management.
 
SEAT UK

Richard Harrison has been appointed head of
operations at SEAT UK. He replaces Mark McKenna who is leaving the
company after 10 years to launch Brand Pilot, a marketing and
sponsorship business.
Harrison will head up the company’s 115-strong dealer network.
Previously he worked at Renault and Vauxhall and for the past three
years he worked in management consultancy and business turnaround
projects.

NOSTRUM GROUP
Caroline Digby
has been appointed finance manager at The
Nostrum Group. She joins after two years as financial controller as
SECPay Ltd, an internet payment service provider, which was later
bought by PayPoint, the cash and internet payments company.

PROFESSOR PETER COOKE
Peter Cooke, formerly professor of Automotive
Industries Management, Nottingham Business School has been
appointed KPMG Professor of Automotive Management at the University
of Buckingham.

ALFA ROMEO
Manufacturer Alfa Romeo has
announced the formation of a new team responsible for sales to
business users. The new fleet team will be headed up by
Nigel Wright as national sales manager; he
previously worked for Mazda and Mitsubishi, as well as for Alfa
Romeo in Australia.

Mandi McGregor, who worked previously for Lex and
VW Group, will be responsible for the northern region and
James Watson, who joins from LeasePlan, for the
south.

The fleet team aims to grow fleet sales by 45 per cent compared
with 2006 next year and to triple fleet sales by 2009.

CAPITAL BANK
Capital Bank has appointed
Paul Kawalec as regional director for dealer
accounts in the Midlands. Kawalec was previously area manager for
the East Midlands, and has worked for Capital Bank for nine years,
and within the motor finance industry for 18 years.

FORD CREDIT
Mike Bannister, chairman and CEO of Ford Motor
Credit Company, has also been elected an executive vice president
of Ford Motor Company.

IMI
The IMI has appointed Sandy Burgess, current
president of the Scottish Motor Trade Association, as national
manager for Scotland. A new Executive Board, headed by
Steve Nash, formerly IMI chairman of council, will
oversee the IMI’s operations.

TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES
James Starling has been appointed to the new
position of sales and marketing director at Toyota Financial
Services (UK). He joins from LeasePlan and has in addition
previously worked for White Clarke Group, Ford Credit and Renault
Finance, among others.
