EXPERIAN
Anisa Byrne has been promoted to the position of head of Product
Management for Experian’s consumer business. She will be tasked
with developing value propositions and products with the aim of
gaining new customers. She originally joined the company in 2005 as
product director for UK Credit Data Products. Prior to that she was
senior marketing manager at Alliance & Leicester.
Tony Pullen has been confirmed as the new managing director of
Experian’s Business Information division. He joins from Equifax
where he held the role of European strategic finance officer. Prior
to this he worked for Coca Cola in a number of senior international
roles, latterly as deputy division president and CFO of the German
division.
TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES
James Starling has been appointed to the new position of sales and
marketing director at Toyota Financial Services (UK) plc. He joins
from LeasePlan where he was responsible for delivering a number of
strategic projects. He has also spent career time with Coopers
& Lybrand, White Clarke Group as well as 12 years motor finance
experience with Ford Credit and Renault Finance.
VERTU MOTORS
Vertu Motors has appointed Michael Breen as managing director of
its Motor Nation used car supermarkets. Breen comes from Reg Vardy
which he joined after completing a law degree.
It has also appointed Gavin Watson as general manager at Bristol
Street Motors’ Stafford Ford dealership. He previously worked as
regional financial controller at Reg Vardy.
ICENET
Neil Shepherd, Simon Quin and Jonathan Smith have joined icenet’s
software development team. Shepherd joins from TSYS, a credit card
software provider, Quin from EMIS, an IT supplier in primary
healthcare, and Smith from Premier Farnell, a distributor of
electronic components based in Leeds.
INCHCAPE FLEET SOLUTIONS
Nicky Scarr has joined Inchcape Fleet Solutions as a key account
manager. She joins following a 13-year career with Arval.
PINEWOOD
Pinewood has appointed Sam Nicholson as a marketing executive
tasked with updating the company’s identity for internal and
external applications. She joins the marketing team after spending
two years on the company’s Training and Implementation team.
The company has also appointed Stephen Phillips to the new position
of sales consultant. He will be responsible for consulting with
potential new dealer customers and creating tailor-made
solutions.
HYUNDAI MOTOR EUROPE
Allan Rushforth has been appointed vice president of Hyundai Motor
Europe with responsibility for all European sales, after-sales and
marketing activities. He previously held senior positions with the
Volkswagen, Audi and Land Rover brands as well as with BMW, with
whom he spent three years based in S.Korea.
PSA PEUGEOT-CITROËN
Isabel Marey-Semper has been appointed chief financial officer of
PSA Peugeot Citroen. She replaces Sylvie Rucar who is leaving the
group. Marey-Semper is a graduate of Ecole Normale Superieure and
holds both a PhD and an MBA. She began her career as a strategy
consultant joining Saint Gobain in 2002 as vice president, Planning
and Strategy. Since February 2007 she has been vice president,
Strategy and Innovation at PSA Peugeot Citroen and a member of the
executive committee.
CAP
Claire Treloar has been appointed to the newly created position of
key account manager – Consumer Media at CAP. She joins from EMAP
Radio where she was a regional account manager in the company’s
Sponsorship and Promotions operation.
HR OWEN
Mike Warren, the former group financial controller at HR Owen has
been appointed finance director at the prestige retail chain
following the departure of David Jaggar, who had held the role
since 1992.
AUTOQUAKE
Neil Campbell is the new director of business development at online
ex-lease motor retailer Autoquake.He has 15 years’ experience in
the motor industry, most recently as a key account director at
EurotaxGlass’s.
ROSPA
The charity RoSPA has announced the arrival of a new head of driver
and fleet solutions. Simon Protano, who previously worked for BSM,
The Instructor College and IAM Fleet, will develop RoSPA’s
portfolio of training courses and resources for managing
occupational road risk, as well as overseeing the RoSPA Advanced
Drivers and Riders network.
Roxanne Woodiwiss and Chris Hurst have also joined RoSPA as
business development officers.
AVIS
Lisa Eastwood has been promoted to the position of sales manager,
business travel from her previous post as national account manager.
She will report to Avis UK sales director Roger Grainger. Eastwood
joined the rental firm in 2000.
LLOYDS TSB AUTOLEASE
Alan Lunt is the new finance director at Lloyds TSB autolease,
following Mark Chessman’s promotion to deputy managing director.
Lunt is the former head of finance at Lloyds TSB’s Asset Finance
Division, and has been with the bank for over three years. He also
has previous experience within the fleet sector, having worked as
financial controller at Arval. Previously, Lunt also held several
senior finance roles within an equipment finance subsidiary of GE
Capital. He will manage a team of over 100 people at the
lessor.
Jeremy Heron has been appointed the head of Lloyds TSB
autolease’s Corporate New Business and Bid Management team. Heron
joins from the corporate banking department at Lloyds TSB, where he
spent three years as head of a sales operation. Prior to that he
spent 12 years at GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services, where he
held a number of senior sales and leadership roles.
