ZENITH VEHICLE CONTRACTS

Gerard Moon, the former CEO of Fortis Lease UK,
has joined independent vehicle leasing company Zenith Vehicle
Contracts in the role of commercial director. Moon had held the
role of CEO at the bank-owned lessor since 2003, when Fortis Lease
bought the company for which he previously worked, CA Industrial
Finance.

Zenith also announced that following its acquisition of
Provecta, Nick Sutton, the former CEO of the ECO
provider, is to join Zenith as group development director.

WRAGGLE & CO LLP

Wragge & Co LLP, a UK full-service law firm, has boosted its
asset finance litigation practice with the appointment of
Greg Standing from May 1. Standing, an expert in
asset finance litigation and regular contributor to Motor Finance,
will be a partner in the finance, insolvency, recoveries and sales
team.

VENSON AUTOMOTIVE SOLUTIONS

Andy Brown has joined the board of Venson
Automotive Solutions, as operations director. Brown has a 30-year
long history in the fleet industry, most recently as operations and
customer services director for Inchcape Fleet Solutions. Before
that he was a founding director of Leasedrive (now Leasedrive VELO)
and worked at Leasing Principals, now known as ING Car Lease, and
Hertz Lease, now part of ALD Automotive.

WRAGGLE & CO LLP

Natalie Atkinson has been appointed chief
underwriting and actuarial officer at Cardif Pinnacle. She joined
Cardif from Pearl Assurance in 1999 and worked on developing the
insurer’s creditor and warranty products.

KIA

Kia has named Andrew Sellars as head of fleet
and remarketing. After a career in the motor retail trade, Sellars
joined Kia in 2003. In his new role he will be responsible for the
Fleet Specialist Dealer programme which aims to promote Kia
products to corporate customers, among other duties.

EXPERIAN

Experian has announced that Gary Wood is to be
the new head of its Decision Analytics division. Wood, former MD of
ABM Ltd, joined the data company’s Decision Analytics Fraud &
Identity Solutions division in 2002.

EUROPCAR

The newly-created position of business travel manager at
Europcar has been taken by Anita Jarratt. She will
lead the new Business Travel team. Jarratt has over 16 years’
experience in the car rental sector.

RAC FOUNDATION

Professor Stephen Glaister CBE has been
appointed to the role of director of the RAC Foundation. Glaister,
a well-known expert on transport matters, is professor of Transport
and Infrastructure at Imperial College, London, and has in the past
advised the government, Parliamentary Select Committee on
Transport, the Rail Regulator and other bodies.

Current acting director and head of campaigns Sheila
Rainger
is to be promoted to the role of deputy
director.

MONDIAL

Lee Taylor has been promoted to the position of
head of warranty and service programmes at Mondial.

LEXUS

Lexus Great Britain has announced the appointment of
Belinda Poole as its director. Poole previously
worked for Ford, and joins from Lexus’s Europe division where she
was latterly general manager, Lexus operations.

NOMIS SOLUTIONS

Alan Swindells has joined Nomis Solutions as
head of professional services. Swindell has worked in finance
technology for over 15 years, most recently with electronic
payments company VeriFone.

ACF CAR FINANCE

Two new appointments have been announced at ACF Car Finance:
Henry Stimpson is the new training and relief
manager, while Peter Walker has been named group
administration co-ordinator.

CFC SOLUTIONS

Neville Briggs has been promoted to the
position of managing director at CFC Solutions. He already holds,
and will retain, the same role at CFC’s sister company, Pinewood
Computer Solutions, a position he has held for some 10 years. He
replaces Andy Leech, who has left the company.

FIAT GROUP AUTOMOBILES UK

Fiat Group Automobiles UK has appointed Andrew
Sproston
as sales director for the Fiat brand. Previously
he held a variety of position at Hyundai, Rover Group, Ford and
Abbey National.

Simon Wheeler has been appointed to the
position of used vehicles re-marketing manager. He will take
responsibility for the disposal of all Fiat Group-owned vehicles
into the Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Professional dealer networks.
Previously Wheeler was with Trader Media Group and prior to that
director of company vehicles, used cars and distribution for MG
Rover. He started his career with dealer group Dutton Forshaw.

Neill Richards has been appointed regional
corporate sales manager with the task of building Fiat’s profile in
fleets in the North of England. Richards has many years experience
of working in the corporate motoring sector including previous
roles with Kwik Fit fleet and Skoda Auto.

NAC MG UK

He Xiao Qing has joined NAC MG UK as chairman.
He comes with experience in legal, international trade and
management and in international finance with Nanjing Automobile
(Group) Corporation. Among his first duties will be the
announcement of a date for the start of production at Longbridge
for the MGTF LE500 and other new cars.
