British Car Auctions (BCA) has acquired nkl automotive, the vehicle logistics and storage firm based in Goole, Yorkshire, for an undisclosed sum.

Nick and Joy Laister, who founded nkl in 2002, and approximately 200 company staff will join BCA Logistics, which will also make use of the nkl facility in Goole.

BCA said in a statement the move will allow the logistics arm of the remarketer, which handles a quarter of a million vehicles a year, to improve capability and widen its customer base.

The company said it is also adding premium logistic services to its offering for fleet, lease and manufacturer clients.
