Jaguar Land Rover

John Edwards has been appointed managing director of the individual products division of Jaguar Land Rover. The division is responsible for ‘brand-extending’ products such as cars which the marques – and, they hope, their customers – hold in high esteem and may sell at a higher margin, but do not expect to be best-sellers, such as the Jaguar F-Type, referred to as ‘halo vehicles’.

Edwards will look after the ‘engineered to order’ line including accessories, licensing and merchandising, such as lifestyle products.
