In July 60 employees of the independent finance provider raised £10,000 participating in the Trans-Pennine Walk and attended the BEN Scotland Ball in March.

The company will also attend the BEN Presidents Golf Day, enter the Bangers4Ben Rally and representatives of the company will be attending the BEN Ball at the Grosvenor House Hotel in December.

Jo Jones, regional development team leader at BEN, said she was impressed by the "inspirational efforts" shown by Close.

"Not only have [Close] involved their many customers," commented Jones. "But in doing so have massively raised awareness of BEN and how we are able to help our automotive industry colleagues in times of stress or hardship".
