Deliveries of fleet vehicles to SME customers
of Lombard Vehicle Management grew by 50 percent in the past year,
the leasing company said.
The growth is a result of Lombard’s deliberate
strategy to target SME customers, said new managing director Stuart
Houlston.

The lessor has “created a new sales structure to
support SME customers more closely”, while Lombard’s 30 business
finance centres all have staff dedicated to fleet sales of up to
five vehicles, Houlston added.

SMEs with fleets of more than five vehicles are
taken care of by a field-based team, “[mirroring] the traditional
service model in place to support larger businesses”. Foulston
said.
