Cazana has appointed Rupert Pontin to the newly created position of director of valuations.

Pontin, whose career in the vehicle management industry spans 30 years, joined from Glass’s, where he was head of valuations.

He previously covered the role of chief car editor at Glass’s guide, and also held senior positions at British Car Auctions and Pontillion. For a five-year period, he also ran his own car sales business.

Cazana provides a sales platform as well as a database for UK vehicles records. It is also planning forays into other European countries and the US.
