Hyundai Motor UK has appointed Ashley Andrew as sales director.

Andrew’s career spans 20 years and includes senior positions across multiple carmakers. He has moved from Fiat Chrysler UK & Ireland, where he was succeeded as managing director by Arnauld Leclerc after a year and a half.

Before that, he was head of operations and marketing at Seat/Skoda within the VW group, and also held positions at the BMW group and Ford.

Andrew said: “I’m thrilled to join Hyundai and I’m looking forward to building on the brand’s success in the UK. We have innovative design, new engine technologies and a range of new and exciting products, so I am confident we will continue to drive the brand forward.”
