Finance software provider Codeweavers deployed finance tools onto 51 dealer websites in August, described as a ‘record’ performance.
Sales director Shaun Harris said: “I’m really proud of this record performance in our dealer channel. We have also seen considerable growth in our manufacturer and bespoke development channels in 2016 powered by a substantial investment in development resource earlier in the year to cope with increased demand for digital solutions from across the sector.”
Looking ahead, Codeweavers said it had been consulting with customers and undertaking a series of focus group sessions to develop its next generation of tools to support both the new and used car finance arenas.
The company said central to this will be the need to engage and play an active role in what it described as an ‘inevitable march’ towards multi-channel retailing and the development of applications that will allow finance to reach its true potential as an offers based tool.
Harris concluded: “The concepts coming out of our design team really excite me and I can’t wait to share them with our customers later in the year. However, we will also be maintaining a focus on constant improvement of tools that we already deploy. Our reputation for delivering has been key to our success and will remain integral to our proposition. It is a differentiator that has underwritten our success”.
