LeaseFetcher, a brokers comparison website for car finance, has launched to the public.

The platform, from Glasgow-based web marketing agency Digital Impact, scans offers from partner UK brokers and subsequently list available finance deals for each car model in its database.

The website is targeted at both consumers and businesses, and allows search by a variety of criteria, including budget, make, size, fuel and emissions.

The website is still in the beta phase. The company said it launched it as a minimum viable product in order to see what the feedback in terms of user engagement and interaction.

A spokesman for Digital Impact told Motor Finance that the company had been approached by a number of lenders to discuss partnerships over LeaseFetcher, but this was not something that they had looked into yet.

LeaseFetcher had been in the works for two years, and raised £300,000 in seed funding last summer. Development agency Scottish Enterprise also contributed a £93,000 grant to the project .

Will Craig, managing director at Digital Impact, said in August: “When I was trying to lease my last car, I really struggled with the tools on the market. That’s when I began thinking about how I could use technology to support a better buying process in the industry.

“Moving forward, [we] plan to grow LeaseFetcher into a global market leader.”
