
CA Auto Bank and its rental and mobility company Drivalia have announced a leadership change with a dual appointment at the group’s top level.
Effective 1 July, Roberto Sportiello will become the new CEO of Drivalia. He will succeed Paolo Manfreddi, who is set to lead Ferrari Financial Services, pending approval from the competent authority.
Ferrari Financial Services is a joint venture (JV) between Ferrari and CA Auto Bank.
Launched in 2016, the JV aims to support Ferrari’s commercial strategy in Germany, the UK, and Switzerland.
CA Auto Bank CEO Giacomo Carelli said: “This change, born from a shared strategic vision, aims to leverage the know-how and skills of two highly experienced leaders to guide Drivalia and Ferrari Financial Services into a new evolutionary phase.”
Sportiello brings more than 20 years of international experience in the automotive financial sector to Drivalia.

Sportiello had been at the helm at Ferrari Financial Services since January 2020.
Sportiello said: “It is with great enthusiasm that I take the baton from Paolo, a professional I admire and who has built a solid and dynamic company. I greet and thank my colleagues at Ferrari Financial Services for the journey we have shared, and I look forward to starting to work with the Drivalia team on the future of mobility.
“We will need to accelerate the group’s development and consolidation throughout Europe, working on integrated, innovative, and sustainable mobility solutions, with a focus on the quality of customer service.”
Manfreddi has led Drivalia since its launch in 2022 and establishment in European markets.
His career began in 2002, and he joined Fiat Groupe Automobiles in 2003.
Manfreddi held various roles, including Lancia sales director, and managed the dealer network and Rent a Car & Used Car activities for the EMEA region.
Since his appointment as CEO in October 2022, Drivalia launched its first monthly subscription services for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) last month.
The services, Be Free Evo Pro and Be Free Evo Pro Max, target artisans, professionals, and small businesses.
