Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has launched its Visual Identity (VI) to its dealer network, showcasing the new customer experience.

To provide dealers with a fully immersive and comprehensive overview of the new platform, Mitsubishi has created a full replica dealership. The mock dealership will form part of the company’s training academy, providing insight on customer care. This will include its recommended parking layout with electrified vehicle charge points as well as décor and furnishings of Mitsubishi dealerships.

“There is no substitute for being able to stand in a space and drink in your surroundings with your own eyes,” said Rob Lindley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK. “We wanted our dealers to experience this new VI as if they were a customer – walking in for the first time and being wowed by its clean, uncluttered, contemporary style.

“Our vehicles are becoming ever more advanced and need to be presented in a space that reflects the energy and investment that is going into their development.”

The first dealership to adopt the new VI is JCT600 in Bradford. JCT600 has just begun operating and it will complete the final elements of the new VI in its design, layout and furnishings over the coming months.

Ryan Slater, general sales manager at JCT600, said: “We’re honoured to be the first dealership to incorporate the Mitsubishi Motors’ new VI and we know from talking to our customers that they are genuinely impressed by the appearance and quality of our new showroom. It reflects positively on the status and image of the vehicles and quality of the service our staff strives to provide.
