Innovation Group has appointed John O’Donnell as managing director of its EMaC division, which offers automotive service plans and customer retention schemes.

O’Donnell has been with Innovation for three years, previously as sales director of its UK motor business.

He has replaced Neil Hodson, who was named managing director in April last year. According to EMaC, he held the position in an interim manner in order to facilitate the handover from founder Angela Barrow, and now that process is complete, Hodson has resigned.

O’Donnell said: “I’m taking on responsibility for leading EMaC at an exciting time for the business.  With an accomplished team of industry experts and a number of innovative new products in the pipeline, EMaC is ideally positioned to continue its growth.  I’m looking forward to working with our clients to drive collaborative product development and ensure that EMaC remains the leader of technology-enabled retention solutions.”
