
The RAC has extended its RAC Passport dealer provenance check to include commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
Robert Diamond, managing director of Motoring Services at the RAC, said: "We see van and bike dealers as an important part of our future customer base, so we are very pleased to be able to offer RAC Passport to them.
The product, which was launched in March, is currently used by over 300 dealers. Diamond says the initial interest has come from independent dealers who are in a position to change supplier quickly.
Before launching RAC Passport, Diamond told Motor Finance the company was looking to target approximately 5% of the market
