UK broker Car Loan 4U and classifieds website Auto Trader have celebrated a year working together to promote finance options to new and used car buyers.

The partnership has led to 14,000 brokered loans from Car Loan 4U, almost double the amount of loans arranged over the previous year.

Started in October 2012, the partnership followed a 60% increase in online searches for car finance to the broker’s website and in response to customers’ finance demands from the classifieds site.

Value and potential

At the time of the partnership’s launch James Wilkinson, director at Car Loan 4U, said the collaboration would allow for a "huge number of potential new customers".

Earlier this year, Car Loan 4U was named the most visited car finance site by Experian Hitwise with 44.5% of online visits in February 2013.
