Volkswagen Group has announced incentive plans aimed at increasing sales ahead of the September registration period, including financing offers and providing insurance for a limited time.

The latest Golf GTD is in VW showrooms this week and VW are marketing the model with a £199 monthly payment based on a three-year or 10,000-mile a year deal from Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS), available until 30 September 2013.

VW is also offering to provide insurance until the end of September on a number of models, such as Up!, Polo, Beetle and Beetle Cabriolet. In order to qualify for the insurance offer, retail customers must purchase the car using the VWFS PCP Solutions package.

All vehicles purchased on VWFS PCP are eligible to purchase a three-year or 30,000-mile service plan.
