Rupert Pontin, Glass’s head of valuations, said: "A mix of style, good specification levels and competitive finance packages means these are a really good used car choice for the family buyer. Low mileage and 14.5 months as an average age suggest these may be ex rental cars or perhaps short term PCP models coming back to the market.
Hyundai Tucson’s were sold after an average of 28.1 days for an average of £8,327. The Hyundai’s were on average 84.3 months, substantially older than the average Sandero Stepway.
The Vauxhall Antara was the third fastest selling car at 28.8 days but, at an average selling price of £12,237, was the fastest selling car over £10,000. Fourth placed Renault Captur sold for a similar £12,670, and took an average of 29.9 days to sell.
Rounding out the Hot Five, the standard Dacia Sandero sold in an average 29.6 days for an average of £6,390.

By GlobalDataPontin said: "The market for 4x4s and SUVs shows no signs of slowing down and this month’s Hot Five is a reflection of that fact, especially as we move into winter and people start to think about tougher driving conditions.
"What is perhaps most surprising about this list is the way in which it is dominated by value or semi-value brands. There is no sign of any of the prestige manufacturers. Buyers of these 4x4s and SUVs, as you can see from the relatively modest selling prices, are looking for well-priced daily transport.
"Value brands, especially Dacia, have figured very strongly in the Hot Five in recent months and it will be interesting to see how they perform as the number of their models on the used market grows over the next year or more."
