Automotive technology provider HPI is to provide Confused.com customers with its HPI Check and valuation services after the two companies signed a partnership agreement.

Under the agreement, HPI Check will be provided as a white label product, meaning Confused.com will be able to use its own branded vehicle information check service.

The HPI valuation services will be provided at no cost to Confused.com users, however the registration check will be priced from £9.99.

Gemma Stanbury, car insurance product manager at Confused.com, said: "Confused.com currently runs 2,500 valuations per day, totalling 90,000 per month, but now we can offer valuations, powered by HPI, at no cost to us or our customers."

"Providing the valuations service means we can help used car buyers on our site see a list of running costs, including servicing, fuel and insurance. Our customers get all this information for free and we drive traffic to the site, making it a real benefit for Confused.com."

Neil Hodson, managing director for HPI said the agreement was a ‘key partnership’ for HPI.
