The automotive industry was well represented in the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands report 2015, as six companies were listed.
Toyota was ranked the highest among the automotive brands, claiming the 30th position. Toyota’s brand was valued at $28.9bn (£18.9bn).

In the 10 years since the BrandZ report was first published, Toyota has been crowned brand value leader in the automotive sector eight times, and second on two occasions.
BMW was ranked 34th with a brand value of $26.3bn, while Mercedes gained the 43rd place ($21.8bn).
Honda was ranked at number 78 ($13.3bn), Ford at number 80 ($13.1bn) and Nissan at number 93 ($11.4bn).
