The guide describes the work of partners, Neil Amner and Vikki Woodfine, as having the highest levels of knowledge and expertise in their sectors.

Woodfine, based in Manchester, was noted for her expertise in road regulation for road haulage and logistics.
Based in Glasgow, Amner was recognised for his work in the rail sector. DWF overall was rated in the highest band, Band 1, for its work in the Scottish rail industry.
Nationally DWF won the fourth highest number of rankings of any law firm in the guide, gaining more places than Magic Circle firms (some of the largest and most influential in the industry) and other national and City-based firms.
