Andy Williamson is to be promoted from chief financial officer of Mercedes-Benz UK to Daimler’s international director of shared services and head of the Daimler Group Services, based in Madrid.
Williamson had held a series of international roles at Daimler, parent group to Mercedes, before joining Mercedes-Benz UK in 2006.

The promotion will take effect from 1 October 2013, and no successor to the chief financial officer role has been announced.
