As part of the deal, BCA will provide Jardine with a strategic marketing campaign, including branded e-marketing, posters and point of sale material, and tactical media advertising.

Explaining the agreement, which followed a competitive tender and benchmarking process, a spokesperson for Jardine said "BCA offered an innovative and ‘joined-up’ approach to remarketing, together with a wide range of complementary services."

The announcement follows a deal in January 2012 between Jardine and Manheim Remarketing. Jardine was unable to comment on how this latest contract will affect its partnership with Manheim.

Responding to the announcement, Michael Buxton, chief operating officer of Manheim, said the company was aware that "following a period of dual-sourcing, Jardine Motors will be trialling the BCA service."
