– Dealers to take extra stock, and the general consensus is this will continue for the foreseeable future. The impact of this pre-registered stock can only have an adverse affect the price of older used cars.
– So, dealers will have to consider strong marketing programmes to make these attractive for consumers, using the likes of personal contract purchase as a product to help make monthly vehicle payments more attractive for retail buyers.
– With a lack or no support from the manufactures with used cars stock it will be up to dealers to ensure they don’t end up with the problem.
