The former head of ING Lease Group, Alain
Vervaet, has joined automotive software company Bynx Limited as a
non-executive director.
Vervaet will help Bynx, which specialises
in providing software for the contract hire, fleet management and
rental originated market, as it seeks to make inroads into the pan
European market.

Bynx Limited group managing director Mark
Binks said: “Vervaet’s appointment brings a wealth of European
expertise to the board.
“Our customers demand solutions that can be
implemented internationally but that also meet local require-ments
not necessarily harmonised Europe-wide.”
Commenting on the appoint-ment, Vervaet
said: “The vehicle leasing market is poised to expand –
particularly in Eastern Europe where the product is still immature
and where the economies are expected to grow faster than Western
Europe.”
Vervaet was a popular head of ING Lease
Group, and during his leasing career spanning three decades he also
served as chairman of the Belgian Leasing Association and The
European Leasing Federation.
