The environmental credentials of British
Airways (BA) will be somewhat improved by news that, from this
summer, over 100 BA sales staff will be driving Honda Civic
Hybrids, thanks to a deal facilitated by fleet management and
leasing company Masterlease.

The vehicles will be provided through a contract hire deal on a
fully-maintained, three years/50,000 miles basis, with Masterlease
providing fleet management services.

BA’s environmental manager, Gary Meades, added; “Environmental
performance was the key consideration in British Airways’ decision
to invest in the new fleet and the hybrid technology not only meets
the highest environmental targets for vehicle emissions but will
also deliver greater fuel efficiency.
