The new fleet team will be headed up by Nigel Wright as national
sales manager; he previously worked for Mazda and Mitsubishi, as
well as for Alfa Romeo in Australia.

Mandi McGregor, who worked previously for Lex
and VW Group, will be responsible for the northern region and James
Watson, who joins from LeasePlan,
for the south.

The fleet team aims to grow fleet sales by 45 per cent compared
with 2006 next year and to triple fleet sales by 2009, using a
strategy of focusing firstly on the major contract hire companies
and fleet operators with fleets of over 250 vehicles.

Wright said: “We’re planning to seduce drivers away from the
obvious German marques and looking to bring added style to the
corporate car parks of Britain.”
