Stamp of approval for defleet service provider

The Washington-based centre will collect vans from Royal Mail
centres in the North East and Scotland for inspection and
preparation for auction. Manheim has previously conducted auctions
for Royal Mail, including a trial of the defleet process.
 
According to Royal Mail’s national vehicle sales manager, Annessa
Lehane: “This additional regional defleet centre will result in a
more efficient defleet management operation plus both organisations
will benefit from a new Royal Mail auction programme at
Washington.”
