Lessor scores three major deals
Fleet management and leasing company Lloyds TSB autolease (LTSBa) has landed three huge vehicle supply contracts, with E.ON, Fujitsu and Newsquest The lessor won a £100m deal with energy company E.ON to provide it with vehicles in the UK, Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic, a continuation of a previous four-year relationship between LTSBa and E.ON. As well as 6,000 vehicles in the UK, the deal covers, through LTSBas pan-European joint venture Fleet Synergy International, 7,500 vehicles in Germany, 2,300 in Hungary and 2,000 in the Czech Republic – 17,800 vehicles altogether, meaning E.ON is now Fleet Synergys largest client.
Lombard Vehicle Management tie-up with Vauxhall for SME fleet focus
Lombard Vehicle Management (LVM) has announced a joint campaign with Vauxhall to market the manufacturers cars and vans to SMEs, with specially-negotiated rates.LVM said that almost every Vauxhall model and derivative is available, with prices predicated on a three-year, 30,000 mile basis. The push is part of its strong ongoing commitment to SMEs, LVM said.
Fleet size falls at Pendragon Contracts
The three brands under which retailer Pendragon operates its fleet leasing and management business – Bramall Contracts, Pendragon Contracts and Vardy Contract Motoring – saw their combined fleet fall by 600 units to 17,600 by year-end 2007.
100th BCA sale in partnership with VWFS
Auction house BCA has carried out its 100th sale in partnership with Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS), featuring 392 Audi, Bentley, Skoda and VW cars. 300 were sold on the day for an average price of £10,040 at 98 per cent of CAP Clean, raising turnover in excess of £3m.

ALD Automotive has received international environmental management standard ISO 14001, following wide-ranging green initiatives by the fleet management and leasing company across its three UK sites.
