Fleet mobility provider Alphabet has begun the next development phase for its ‘icon’ vehicle leasing platform.
Following financial investment, Alphabet has now included a quotation tool for both brokers and retailers into its online product offering, and claims to simplify the leasing options for SMEs.

Alphabet said the tool would include a ‘virtual walk’ for the customer to choose the car and leasing option, with the quotes broken down by cost and graphically visualised in the ‘Deal Selector’ function.
Gavin Davies, general manager, SME sales & distribution, at Alphabet, hailed the feature changes in ‘icon’ as a ‘game-changer’.
Davies said: “This launch of the next phase of ‘icon’ is a real game changer for the contract hire and leasing experience for SMEs. It takes things to a whole new level and delivers the functionality and speed demanded.
“By introducing these improvements to ‘icon’ we can help meet the needs of SME customers both now and in the future. We’re providing business customers with the full spectrum of vehicle and leasing options they are looking for, with specialist support and advice.”
