Aston Barclay has appointed David Case as group systems manager. Case has over 15 years’ systems experience in the automotive sector, and will be responsible for the ongoing development of Aston Barclay’s IT operations.

The vehicle remarketer is moving towards digitisation, and has recently launched a new core operational system to run the group’s digital services, a new website, a live online bidding service, and created an app designed for vehicle inspection.

Case will work with stakeholders to develop programmes, integrations, and services, and help direct development of new digital projects.

Glen Scarborough, managing director at Aston Barclay, said: “We are delighted to welcome David to the team. Technology is key in our industry…by having David on board, we can effectively maximise the potential of our growing number of systems, while helping to drive new opportunities for growth.”

Case said: “I am thrilled to be joining Aston Barclay at such an exciting time…I look forward to developing these internally and externally, to help consolidate their package of bespoke customer products.”
