Nordic-based Banqsoft has joined Leaseurope as its latest associate member, offering experience with digitalisation within the leasing and auto finance sector.

Banqsoft offers software solutions for asset finance companies, digital banks and credit management providers – through one online platform. Origination, contract management, front-end solutions, fleet management, reporting and business analytics are all accessible on its View21 platform, used in over 30 countries worldwide, the provider said.

Per Högberg, director of asset finance at Banqsoft, said: “Our membership with Leaseurope aligns closely with our initiatives to further internationalize our services and meet new business opportunities in the European market.

“We believe our product portfolio, backed by highly automated concepts and innovations, offers a competitive advantage that meets the requirements of the market today and in the future. We look forward to taking part in discussions as well as contributing our concepts and knowledge with Leaseurope and across the European market.”

Leaseurope’s director general, Anne Valette, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Banqsoft into our committed and expanding network of Leaseurope associate members. Their experience with digitalisation within the leasing and automotive finance sector in a well-developed market like the Nordics will certainly prove to be of high value to Leaseurope and our members. We are excited to work with them going forward.”

Earlier this year, Leaseurope welcomed Lectura, a German-based provider of machinery intelligence, as an associate member.

The machinery data intelligence business, founded in 1984, said its database of equipment information attracts hundreds of thousands of professional visitors every month when researching machinery before making a decision to buy or finance.

Following the addition of Banqsoft, Leaseurope estimates that it represents approximately 91% of the European leasing industry.

Leaseurope is a trade body representing the leasing and automotive rental industry in Europe. Made up of 46 associations across the continent, the association’s collective products range from hire purchase and finance leases to operating leases of all asset types, while the rental of cars, vans and trucks is also included.
