The British vehicle remarketer British Car Auctions (BCA) has appointed Stuart Pearson as managing director of UK remarketing.

In the new role, Pearson will be responsible for managing BCA’s network of 23 auction centres. The team of regional operations directors will report to him.

Simon Henstock, BCA UK chief operating officer remarketing, said: “We are delighted Stuart has accepted this role,” said “This new appointment aligns our remarketing division sector with our other operating divisions and will ensure that we are prepared for the growth that our business expects to achieve.”

Pearson has been with BCA for 21 years, beginning as a management trainee in Derby. In this time, he has held positions in BCA’s Preston and Bedford offices, and spent the last 12 months as operations director, BCA UK remarketing.

Henstock added: “BCA remains committed to the development of its management team and this appointment continues our policy of promoting from within.”
