The motor finance arm of UK bank Close Brothers has entered into a partnership with manufacturer Clews Competition Motorcycles (CCM).
James Broadhead, chief executive officer of Close Brothers Motor Finance said: “We are delighted to have entered into partnership with CMM…the partnership feels like a natural fit.”
The deal will make Close Brothers Motor Finance the sole finance partner for CCM, and help support the motorcycle company’s plans to expand its customer offering. Two new models will soon be available.
Neil Richardson, national sales manager for Close Brothers Motor Finance motorcycle division told Motor Finance: “We worked with CCM to increase their model range through advice and guidance from our Motorcycle Account Specialists on industry trends and consumer buying habits to help increase their sales and offering in the market.”
Austin Clews, the owner of CMM said: “2016 has proved a landmark year for CCM. The ability to offer the latest deals from Close Brothers Motor Finance has been a major contributing factor to this success.”
The partnership was signed in January 2016, and will last for 2 years. This is the company’s third new partnership of the year, following deals with the British luxury car manufacturer Morgan Motor Company in May, and motorcycle distributors Polaris Group in June.
