Automotive e-commerce firm epyx has named Debbie Fox as its commercial director, where she’ll be responsible for all commercial activities.
Fox joins epyx from Click Dealer, where she worked as chief commercial officer. Prior to that, Fox served as general manager at Athoris, fleet director at OEConnection, head of sales at EMaC and business development director at KeeResources. She has also held positions at JATO Dynamics, CAP Motor Research, Premier Finance, Inchcape Financial Services and Lombard Business Finance in a career spanning more than 30 years.
Fox replaces Tim Meadows, who has moved on within the FLEETCOR Technologies Incorporated group of companies to become managing director at fleet and workshop software provider r2c Online Limited.
Commenting on her appointment, Fox said: “epyx has an enviable reputation among fleets and dealers for leading the way in innovative technology that delivers real world results, and I’m very pleased to be joining the company.
“We’re clearly at a moment in time when nearly every part of the motor industry is facing a very high degree of uncertainty and change. The challenge for companies like epyx is to develop new and existing solutions that meet the needs of these new conditions.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team here and our customer base over the next few weeks, listening to the issues that they are now facing and working to create relevant answers.”
Aditya Varadpande, managing director at epyx, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Debbie to the senior leadership team at epyx. She has an excellent track record in the industry and I am sure that she will quickly make a positive impact on the business.”
