Technology provider iVendi has appointed Steve Lewis as lead analyst in a newly-created role which will see him tasked with helping the company’s clients get the most out of their online offering.

Lewis first joined iVendi in 2014.

According to iVendi, the post will emphasise improving onscreen design in order to ‘maximise impact’ of motor finance.

Lewis said: “Full, end-to-end online motor finance is a relatively recent innovation, so we are still learning all the time about what works well in different circumstances.

“The difference in the number of call-to-actions created on a page can be improved threefold by more appropriate design.”

Lewis stated that the emergence of mobile devices in accessing motor finance was important.

Lewis said: “In late 2016, if your offering doesn’t work well on a smartphone and a tablet, you are severely restricting your chances of success. At iVendi, we now have a mobile-first development policy.”
