UK leasing comparison site Leasing.com has partnered with Bauer Media to become the exclusive provider of leasing deals for CAR magazine.
The partnership will enable CAR’s online users to access new car leasing offers through the magazine’s website. CAR has also launched a dedicated EV leasing hub to provide readers with a selection of EV leasing offers as consumers increasingly shift to the electric vehicle market.
The partnership coincides with increased consumer demand for leasing as the country exits lockdown and the economy opens up. Despite a difficult past 12 months for new car sales, data from the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) showed that broker-originated new car sales on personal contract hire (PCH) reached a record high in 2020.
Recent SMMT data also revealed that 2020 was the best year for battery electric vehicles, with a 6.6% share in the 2020 car market, rising from 1.6% in 2019.

Bauer Media joins the growing number of industry partners that Leasing.com now works with, including comparison site Confused.com, media group Autovia and industry review website Honest John.
Recent data from Leasing.com saw enquiries for the Cupra Formentor jump 110% in April, taking the vehicle to fourth place on the platform’s leasing league table.
