Santander Consumer Finance (SCF) is expanding its online loan application platform across the UK delivering an end-to-end digital solution for dealers.

The national launch of Apply Online which offers e-sign capability means customers can calculate the finance they need, receive immediate approvals and sign documentation at home or in showrooms.

Delivery of the end-to-end digital process has taken nine months since the launch of SCF’s online calculator in December and involved substantial financial and resource investments at SCF.

Since launching the calculator, customers have generated more than 4.1m quotes and 51 dealers have signed up. Apply Online, which was successfully tested over the past month, is now available to all dealers using the calculator.

The system is designed to provide a simple personal experience for car buyers and builds on the success of SCF’s partnership with Volvo Car UK, launched in April.
