The Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA)
raised £1600 at its annual conference for BEN, the automotive
industry’s only dedicated charity.
The money was raised by two auctions – one
silent, one regular – held at the conference at Silverstone race
circuit.

Nigel Williams, commercial manager at BEN,
said: “We are extremely grateful to the VRA for inviting us to
their annual conference and to the attendees for their fantastic
support.
“The money will of course continue to help us
provide support to some 15,000 people associated with our
industry.”
BEN provides practical and financial support
to those who work, or have worked, in the automotive industry. BEN
also runs a chain of care centres across the UK.
