Job Description : Our client is seeking an Internal Account Manager, Hard Assets – UK, Gtr London / SE Eng (ref: J2043) who can work successfully in their Agricultural market as a primary point of contact for their end user customers, introducers, dealers and associated vendors in the promotion of a direct sales channel.


  • In conjunction with sector Heads, manage and fully understand all aspects of their sales portal program from set up, installation and operation.
  • Proactively follow up installations to ensure the sales portal is understood and effectively used to create asset finance opportunities.
  • Successfully develop proposals to a credit decision using existing by obtaining all necessary customer and customer financial information.
  • Following dealer / vendor / direct end user customer introductions; proactively make telephone calls to end user customers to discuss financing requirements and ultimately close the sale of the financing of the equipment.
  • Input proposals into front end tool having gathered accounts and all relevant information from dealer / vendor / end user customer to assist Risk in making an informed decision.
  • Liaise with end user customers / dealers / vendors and other involved parties to manage proposals to allow an efficient payout.
  • Manage an efficient process from input to payout, including document completion and document return, supplier invoicing and/or manufacturer subsidy to facilitate payout in a timely manner.
  • Manage key broker relationships – either supporting to maintain current business levels or targeting potential business improvement.
  • Work as part of a Sales Support team providing support to primarily, but not exclusively, Agriculture.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with dealers and customers to generate required sales volume and provide support in terms of system training, paperwork, ad-hoc queries.


  • Knowledge of the asset finance or agricultural/transportation/construction industry and products offered.
  • Proven experience in direct sales in a related asset finance industry.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven sales ability/success including the ability to close deals with external customers in a competitive environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate as an individual and part of a team.
