DIC’s current managing director, Mark West, will stay with the
business, and will in future report to Simon Oliphant, chief
executive of HCVS.
Oliphant commented: “The acquisition is part of a strategic
growth plan by Hitachi Capital, and provides us with a niche
business, which complements our own activities.
“Despite the tough general economic outlook, we remain committed
to growing the business in the UK and believe our Japanese
parentage will provide us with the stability required to support
our customers through the challenges we all face.”
