The UK arm of Mazda Motors has said that its new point-of-sale
finance partner will be Santander Consumer Finance, replacing Ford
Motor Credit, following Ford’s sale of 20 per cent of its stake in
Mazda for $538m (£359m).
Santander Consumer Finance will offer finance products to
Mazda’s customers and dealers using the trading name Mazda
Financial Services.

Jeremy Thomson, Mazda Motors UK managing director said: “The
benefit of this relationship is that we will gain access to the
comprehensive services of Santander Consumer, including wholesale
finance for our dealers.”
In the US, meanwhile, consumer and dealer credit for
Mazda’s customers is to be provided by Chase Auto Finance, the
carmaker said.
