announced a joint campaign with Vauxhall to market the
manufacturer’s cars and vans to SMEs, with specially-negotiated
rates.
LVM said that almost every Vauxhall model and derivative is
available, with prices predicated on a three-year, 30,000 mile
basis. The push is part of its “strong ongoing commitment” to SMEs,
LVM said. Head of LVM, Rob Bailey said that a focus on contract
hire sales to SME customers last year increased business levels in
the sub-25 unit fleet market by 100 per cent.

“Each of the 30 Lombard Business Finance Centres now has
dedicated contract hire staff for local SMEs. They can obtain
quotes and have any queries answered locally and expertly rather
than having to deal with someone in a geographically distant
office,” Bailey pointed out. “Small businesses have both a local
service and dedicated deals, and their response has been
outstanding.”
Bailey anticipated that “tighter economic conditions” will lead
more SME customers to contract hire, as it offers them “dedicated
support”.
