Nigel Rothband has been appointed to the newly-created position of chief operating officer of automotive industry charity BEN.
Rothband will be responsible for raising awareness of BEN and increasing the activities and services of the charity as part of its strategic development.

Rothband’s background is in retail, having held positions at BHS, Arcadia Group, where he became retail director, and The Body Shop, where he was retail managing director, before becoming chief executive of charity Retail Trust.
