The busiest times for online motor finance quotes are between 7pm and 10pm, according to research by motor dealer technology firm iVendi.
During that three-hour window, 22% of total daily requests for quotes are made by customers.

The figures are taken from an analysis of a typical day’s use of iVendi’s Quoteware e-commerce platform, used by finance companies and new and used car and van dealers, and is based on more than a million finance quotes.
James Tew, CEO of iVendi, which recently rebranded from Webzation, said: "If you drill down into the data, the actual peak period is between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. People get back home from work, have their tea and then go online to look at their new vehicle.
"Online quoting typically starts in earnest from 9am until 10am when around 5% of the day’s total requests are made," said Tew. "Usage then builds throughout the day before peaking in the early evening. There is also an identifiable ‘night owl’ usage of Quoteware with around 7% of total daily usage occurring from 11pm until 2am."
