Online used car classified trader Motors.co.uk has joined G3 Remarketing and CD Auction Group in reporting the value of providing photographs when selling second-hand vehicles.
The website, acquired by remarketing group Manheim in March last year, reported classified listings for vehicles with at least two images received twice the click-through rate of vehicles with no images.

Two thirds of customers would not contact a dealer without first seeing an image of the car, 77% would be attracted to a high quality photograph (rather than a quick snap), 70% wanted a view of the dashboard, 84% to see the interior of the car and 85% required multiple exterior shots.
Industry players from Benfield Motor Group to Close Motor Finance have spoken at Finance & Leasing Association events in the past year of the value of understanding the online marketing of cars.
