
AutoBI, the business intelligence provider for car retailers and part of the Bumper Group, has partnered with Auto Trader to launch PriceTrack, a new pricing comparison tool aimed at supporting used car dealers.
Developed in-house by AutoBI, PriceTrack offers real-time vehicle price analysis against competitors, monitors average daily advert views, and provides alerts for competitor price changes. The tool is designed to help dealers adjust pricing strategies using live market data.
According to AutoBI’s Head of Sales, Marshall Shipley, the tool was created to give dealers “instant access to pricing trends” and enable more responsive pricing decisions. He said the integration with Auto Trader would allow its dealer clients to ensure vehicles are “competitively priced and aligned with market demand”.
PriceTrack is AutoBI’s first tool made available to Auto Trader customers. It follows a pilot scheme with Stoneacre Motor Group, which AutoBI said demonstrated the tool’s effectiveness in streamlining pricing decisions and improving operational efficiency.
Mark Zavagno, Digital Operations Director at Stoneacre, said the platform brought “clarity” to its used car operations by consolidating data from multiple sources into a single system. He added that the tool “removes the noise” and supports faster, more consistent decision-making across the business.
